first of first feelings

Hey. my mid term break is just about to end and so i was encouraged by a good friend to start a blog. i wonder why it didnt happen earlier? I guess so its i dont tell you, the viewers, all the juicy details of which made my holiday break so fun! HAHA!!

My holiday was not as i expected it to be.
I thought it would be one of those holidays where i sit in front of my mom's office comp and just surf the net and chat with friends. Then i remembered my aunt signed me up on this inter-church camp called Passion Conference. Its a 3 day 2 night camp in Ranau. Days before the camp, my mom went to kl to send my eldest sister Michelle who is 22 this year to Manchester, UK to finish her Masters for psychology. (well, you could say she's slightly psycho as well..jkjk!)

And my dad too went out of the country. So, it was just me and my sister.

The Passion Conference was held in some place called Maktab Teologi Sabah. When we first arrived at the place, I was like, Oh dear. Cause it was slightly rundown. and the worst part which turned out to be the fun part was we had to take bath in the river or rather a stream.

As the first ice breaker, we were to play.......Ice and Fire!!!! hahahahhaa. the response from all of us were either HAR??? or Whats that? or even How to play arh? hahahaha. it wasnt so fun because the people playin ice were only playin with the people they know and the people they didnt know they just brush past.

The sermons were great, they weren't lecturing or just talking, in a way they were interacting with us in a way they made us think of our actions or even our mere thoughts of evilness! I learnt alot from this camp! Persevering, patience, actions, being grateful and even how i react to things in life!

The camp was probably the most rundown camp i have ever been to! but it was probably the best yet! although, we had to sleep with no fan nor air conditioning and on wooden floorboards, we had time to talk, express feelings and even share problems we faced in our teenage lives which we probably wouldnt have done if we stayed in 5 star hotels.

After the camp, I went out with a couple of my friends and you know I felt as if i was in the drama series GossipGirl! Hhahahhahahaha! All the crushes, back stabbing, lying and secrets in living in this modern city! hahaha! but u know me! i only give the general ideas! No details! hahahah!

goodbye for now!
XOXO,
Joyce.
