types of friends i have...

Friends. We all need them. They are our resources. For physical needs and mental needs. No one sane can live with the fact they have no friends. It'll drive you up the wall and out of your mind. I don't have A LOT of friends. But i have enough to keep me on my feet and keep me going.

There are many types of friends in this world. In general, The GOOD and The BAD.

The good will be like the people who have similarities with you, be it music, clothes, attitude, friends, subjects or even things you like. Friends that are silent but once they speak words of wisdom comes pouring out. Or the ones that talk a lot but all their motives are for your own good. Then there are the ones you can hang out with in good times or bad. A shoulder to cry on or a helping hand. Friends that can count on you and ones that you can count on.

The bad will come lure you into darkness of which you will feel the adrenaline of dangerous, risky fun! But fun will only last that long... Soon after the guilt, the fear will come crawling out to get you and then your so-called 'friends' will just leave you there to rot. If they still have compassion they might even help you out. But thats a once in a blue moon situation. if u know what i mean.

I have both good and bad. You're probably thinking : Why are you keeping the bad?
Well, i guess its cause i believe that you won't know whats bad for you until its bitten you once. And also cause i keep them for a bit of that danger. I mean one of my motto's are LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST! So, how do you live when you don't know whats danger? hahaha!

I've noticed a difference.....

I have observed for quite a while that my friends are a bit more reckless than me. They sing in school loudly, unaware of the eyes and the hushed whispers about them. I wouldn't dream of doing half the things they've done. Doing all the lovey-dovey things they do with their boyfriends like kissing, sitting on the guys lap, being all touchy. I am a bit more relaxed or rather not so exited then them. They get hyper whenever the guys like within sight, which could be like a hundred metres away. They would shout the guys name loudly and for what? Just wanna say HI! and also smile as prettily and wave as hard as possible maybe even extend their hand for a shake or even hoping for a kiss on the hand. I mean can you seem any more desperate for a guys touch than that? I am not judging or anything but its just a conclusion of my observation. No offense to those who took them.

Confusion riding my mind... but I'm holding on....

I am totally confused with my life. Distractions. Temptations. Sins. I know there will be people there to fall back on if anything major happens but somehow, someway, something messes up my mind and i tend to misinterpret the signals people are giving me. and then there will always be drama in my life. Misunderstandings. It is true. I'm a confusing person. I like to contradict. (do you know what that means? if u do, GOOD! if u don't, it means i keep changing my opinions from time to time). There are also times where people i like don't like me. he he. I have a ring of friends that i can cling on to and i know it. Although at times, we fight, bicker, back stab, lie and all. In the end, we still stick together. The ring might get bigger or wider but the inner circle still remains concrete strong! Thats why I, Joyce want to thank you guys for being who you are! LOL!

(P.S: new people don't count! and by new, i mean people i just met this year! no offence but i don't know you too well!)

first of first feelings

Hey. my mid term break is just about to end and so i was encouraged by a good friend to start a blog. i wonder why it didnt happen earlier? I guess so its i dont tell you, the viewers, all the juicy details of which made my holiday break so fun! HAHA!!

My holiday was not as i expected it to be.
I thought it would be one of those holidays where i sit in front of my mom's office comp and just surf the net and chat with friends. Then i remembered my aunt signed me up on this inter-church camp called Passion Conference. Its a 3 day 2 night camp in Ranau. Days before the camp, my mom went to kl to send my eldest sister Michelle who is 22 this year to Manchester, UK to finish her Masters for psychology. (well, you could say she's slightly psycho as well..jkjk!)

And my dad too went out of the country. So, it was just me and my sister.

The Passion Conference was held in some place called Maktab Teologi Sabah. When we first arrived at the place, I was like, Oh dear. Cause it was slightly rundown. and the worst part which turned out to be the fun part was we had to take bath in the river or rather a stream.

As the first ice breaker, we were to play.......Ice and Fire!!!! hahahahhaa. the response from all of us were either HAR??? or Whats that? or even How to play arh? hahahaha. it wasnt so fun because the people playin ice were only playin with the people they know and the people they didnt know they just brush past.

The sermons were great, they weren't lecturing or just talking, in a way they were interacting with us in a way they made us think of our actions or even our mere thoughts of evilness! I learnt alot from this camp! Persevering, patience, actions, being grateful and even how i react to things in life!

The camp was probably the most rundown camp i have ever been to! but it was probably the best yet! although, we had to sleep with no fan nor air conditioning and on wooden floorboards, we had time to talk, express feelings and even share problems we faced in our teenage lives which we probably wouldnt have done if we stayed in 5 star hotels.

After the camp, I went out with a couple of my friends and you know I felt as if i was in the drama series GossipGirl! Hhahahhahahaha! All the crushes, back stabbing, lying and secrets in living in this modern city! hahaha! but u know me! i only give the general ideas! No details! hahahah!

goodbye for now!
XOXO,
Joyce.
